With such a limited shelf life, freshness is an all important consideration for any butcher buying chicken products … and, therefore, a major factor in choosing a supplier. So it’s reassuring to know that we receive all our supplies daily from established quality sources both in the UK and throughout Europe, carefully selected to provide the finest quality in every grade. We can supply trussed and untrussed whole chickens in a full range of sizes (usually in batch quantities of 6-8 birds per box), either fresh or frozen depending on individual customer preferences.

We also supply a complete range of cuts such as legs, drumsticks, thighs and wings, with chicken fillets by far our most popular range with customers in every region. These are supplied in either gas flushed 10kg boxes, each containing 2 trays of approximately 25 fillets per tray – the ideal choice for immediate counter display direct from the box – or, if you prefer, you can choose the value price option of vacuum packing.

Turkey isn’t just for Christmas … so for the assurance of all year quality, we source the vast majority of our supplies from Italy as the recognised European centre of excellence for turkey production and primal cut processing. While demand for whole fresh or frozen turkeys is always high, we find that the increasing preference amongst our customers these days is for breasts only which we supply in vacuum packed quantities of 4 double breasts per box.
